Gagà Laboratorio was born from Ruben Tomella’s vision to create timepieces characterized by a unique and instantly recognizable design.
For this reason, the partnership with internationally renowned artist and designer Mo Coppoletta was formed, who is involved not only as a designer but also holds the role of Art Director.
After twenty years leading the Gagà Milano brand (which is still owned by Ruben Tomella), I felt that the time had come to change and make a leap into a new world.
Since I am a true lover of ‘beauty’ in all its forms, I decided to embark on a new adventure: creating timepieces that would captivate collectors from a design perspective.
The shared goal with Ruben is clear but not simple: to design a watch whose perceived value would be much higher than its commercial positioning.
For this reason, Gagà Laboratorio will develop over the years as a brand producing watches designed for collectors but at an accessible price.
R&D – between Londra and Lugano
Everything begins here: our timepieces are conceived, engineered, and crafted between London and Lugano. London serves as the creative hub of Mo Coppoletta, where every design comes to life—from the initial sketch on paper to the 2D rendering, the creative concept is born there.
In the Lugano office, however, the watch begins to take tangible form. From the 3D model to the final prototype, all phases of research and development, as well as production, are carried out entirely within Swiss territory, in close collaboration with our esteemed partners.
Production – Strictly Swiss Made
We are firmly convinced that quality is the cornerstone of success. For this reason, we maintain a strong connection to the region, as it is through direct collaboration with our partners, located in Ticino, that we are able to ensure the highest standards of quality for all our clients.
We work with the most renowned Swiss suppliers to meticulously manage every phase of production, from the initial quality checks, through assembly, to the final inspections, before our timepieces are distributed globally.
Marketing a Sales – From Lugano to the world: Think local, act global
Our work extends beyond the creation of the product; indeed, there is much more. From our office in Lugano, our team collaborates with commercial partners around the world to ensure that Gagà Laboratorio timepieces are accessible to all. As a result, our commercial network is expanding systematically across the globe.
After Sale Service – Longlife Warranty Program
After-sales service is of paramount importance to us, as it allows our clients to purchase a Gagà Laboratorio timepiece with complete confidence, knowing that the company is always available to provide assistance. To this end, we have developed the International Warranty Program, which offers a lifetime warranty for all our watches, available for activation through the “The Clab” section on our website.
